Back to the Follies!
In 2006, lackadaisical law student Marty is accidentally sent back in time to Northwestern Law School in 1985. He discovers that back then, many of the individuals we currently know as professors and administrators were themselves law students. In his quest to find his way back to the present, Marty must ensure not to upset the space-time continuum and change the course of reality as he interacts with a colorful cast of students, faculty, LLMs, JDMBAs, drama queens, jocks, nerds and top gunners. Can Marty seek out the sage advice of Len Rubinowitz and make it back to 2006? And when he gets there, will it be the same as he left it?
"Back to the Follies" adapts plot elements from many popular 1980’s movies, including Back to the Future, Top Gun, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Footloose, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and Dirty Dancing. It features over a dozen song and dance numbers parodying some of the biggest hits of the 1980's as well, such as "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," "I Think We’re Alone Now," "Rio," and "We Built This City."
Even if you’re not versed in the field of law, you’ll find plenty to enjoy and sing along with in "Back to the Follies." Take the journey on March 31st and April 1st!
